The 3-Panel Invitation:
Jill decided to modify the artwork ink color to gold, originally she had wanted a dark purple or eggplant. She felt gold would be more formal. She had problems finding the paper color she wanted, but finally found a sage green that came across in the parchtone.

This is the first panel of the invitation. The cover art with the new crest. This panel flips up and the second panel has the herbs.

The herb panel flips down and the words of the invitation are in the center.

She selected the postcard RSVP with her address printed on one side. She used matching parchtone A-6 envelopes and special "Within the Ribbon" cards enclosed with the invitation for special guests and family members.

All the items used during the day of the Wedding (the program, Keepsake piece and guest gift cards) all utilized the two colors Jill originally wanted to use, sage and eggplant purple.

The artwork really stood out in these colors. Plus, it was larger because the Keepsake piece was 8.5" x 11" folded in half. She used her new crest on the cover and the herb design on the back of the piece. The inside was text, very personal about the couple and their wedding. It was in baskets at the Wedding Reception along with little bags of grits and a recipe card.

Jill and Todd both were very involved in the design. It was a lot of fun! They used a lot of romantic symbolism and then things personal to them and their friendship.

They just had their first child in October of 2003, Jack. What a lucky little guy he is!
