Car Art Web Design ... living Creatively Ever After: on the Beach in St. Thomas EMT's in Love Creating a Family Crest Symbolism with Herbs wed in the Mountains |
The Concept
Work with a versatile designer to create artwork about the two of you. Create a theme with custom designed invitations and greetings that express and focus on anything that you wish to share with your family and friends. The theme could be: based on a special place The Process First, we'll have an initial meeting to discuss the printed elements you need, the time line, the contract and some general ideas. This includes an informal interview so I can get to know the bride and groom. Some couples know what they want, while others don't know where to begin! I will walk you through the creative process and help you focus on a theme. Next, I will research the ideas we've discussed and create conceptual thumbnail sketches for the couple to review and discuss. Example. |
Once the concept design has been selected, we will look at paper and ink selections and I will obtain printing quotes. Artwork will be drawn (generally in pencil) for review by the bride and groom (and parents, grandparents, bridesmaids...I understand that second, third and fourth opinions are a big part of wedding planning!) The artwork is finalized and approved by the couple. The artwork is made camera-ready for printing. The couple signs off on the printer's proofs and the products are printed and completed. The items are printed according to the necessary time line, (i.e. generally the wedding program is printed just prior to the wedding to account for any last minute modifications). Meetings are held as needed and can be conducted via today's technology (facsimile, NetMeetings, etc.). All artwork, conceptuals and designs are copyrighted and the property of the artist until payment is made in full. |
